The grapefruit extract is an organic product that is obtained from the seeds and the fleshy part of the fruit.
It has the chemical name diphenol hydroxybenzene and is a combination of different natural constituents: flavonoids, amino acids, saccharides, polyphenols, vitamins of the B group (particularly biotin, which is important for the metabolism) and vitamin C, which reaches up to 30 mg/g.
In the extract, the following minerals can be detected: phosphorus, potassium, iron, sodium and magnesium. The final product from obtaining the grapefruit extract is a yellow liquid with a high viscosity and with a characteristic bitter-sweet taste.
Due to its wide-spectrum properties, the Grapefruit extract is successfully used in some diseases associated with the lowering of immunity. The number of people, who use it as a means of protection against fungi, bacteria, viruses and parasites, is constantly growing.
Grapefruit extract contains bitter hemostatic flavonoids, which help the digestion, reduce the cholesterol levels and reduce some of the arterial deposits.
